I am currently using a pvr 150 with the hauppauge blaster to control a starchoice stb. Channels changes have been just about perfect. I would like to add a second 150 for live tv. Could I add it, set it for a constant input open live tv and use the stb remote for the changing of the channels. I know I can't use the blaster on the second 150. bigger issue,Will adding a second 150 mess up the blaster set-up of the original 150? I will be ordering a usb-uirt and this should allow channel changes on both stbs'. I am more worried about adding the second pvr150 and having it mess with the blaster function of the first.

I think there is no rule of thumb on which one will be used in an installation.

I believe the Hauppauge drivers pick up the first Hardware ID and use that for the blaster. So you might have to change the Tuner setup to the one that it picks up first and use that with the Starchoice box.

Am I safe to assume once a tuner is set up it will continue to boot up in the same order. I won't have to reset the tuners every time the computer is restarted.Hopefully the tuners are picked up in the same order each time.

That I'm not 100% sure of. You'd have to test it, but I think that's the way it works.
