HowTo erase guide data

Hello,

I wrongly entered future EPG data in Sage due to a mismatched date format (basically 20080210 was erroneously interpreted as 2nd of October rather than 10th of February). Now I am having several shows lasting for months.

I would like to either restore a fully uninitialized EPG (100% No Data) and attempt another xmltv import or delete the entries from a given day onward: does anybody know a method for doing it (except restoring a previous wiz.bin which I don't have)?

Thanks for your help

You could just get your new data and import it again. After you import it, just force your epg to update by going into channel setup and cycling on and off one channel. Finish setup and then go look at your epg. If you've got the format right, it should be okay.

I played with my epg for a few weeks to get it the way I like it now. I'm using TVXB and the LM xmltv importer software. Works pretty well.

Best of luck

Steve

Hey, you were right.

Reimported the correct xmltv file and everything fixed like a magic.

Thanks!

Steve Hi,

Moving to Tokyo in few weeks and desperately looking for a xmltv source. Came across your post. TVXB site does not have an ini file for Japan. Can you kindly share where you found the ini or better yet can you kindly share it with me?

Thanks so much! Regards,
KK
