HD100, whats good... whats bad, should I buy?
I am using seperate computers now for each HD display I have but I am tempted to get a HD100. Like most new hardware, I am cautious of first generation equipment. I read through the posts, but didnt find much rea feedback. I looked for reviews on other sites but didnt find any. So....
What do you like? dislike? What works and what needs improvement? |

I love my HD extenders. They play everything. Its like having a silent computer in the living room, except no noise, and no large energy requirements. I also like the way Sage keeps up with it's customers, and any problems are fixed.
Thanks sage! |

Unless you have a specific question that wasn't answered with one of those bazillion posts all I can say I love it. I rip my music and DVD movies to my media server's hard drive. With that being the case I don't think I'm lacking anything for using this in the front room with the HDTV plasma attached. In my study I run SageTV client on my PC becasue that is where I do my DVD Profiler housekeeping. My aforementioned music and movie ripping. I run Videoredo in case I want to edit. I use the Videoedit plugin when I want. I have run the Winamp plugin so I have better visualizations. And I also create new themes on there.
So it will also depend on the function you want for the HD Extender. For the family it serves it purpose and does it with less muss and fuss. We turn it on and watch. When needed I'll have it do a firmware update. The wife loves it. It's noiseless. Handles HD better than any PC I used. I don't know what else you would be looking for. Gerry
