I really don't know. Sometimes SageTV (client / server) is having a hard time switching audio streams; for instance:

* I have two streams : N°1 FR AC3 and N°2 ENG AC3, SageTV is always playing stream N°2 whereas it says it plays N°1: streams are always reversed)

* Sometimes I get no audio at all (maybe this is fixed now, I don't remember seeing this for some time)

* Sometimes I cannot switch audio streams.

I don't know if the same oddities can apply to the extenders however (as the playback engine is not the same)

So you should send to SageTV a small recording sample (make sure you can reproduce the issue, because on small files usually all is fine )

I think my problem may have been a config issue, something to do with .TS files versus .MPG files.

I have DVBViewer Recorder Service configured to produce *.TS files, but I noticed in the log that SageTV was expecting/awaiting/monitoring the start of a *.mpg.
I checked the "Record Transport Stream" checkbox, and updated sage properties.
Now naming the recorded filed *.ts and my 5.1 AC3 sound seems to work, tuning seems faster too

When i use a channel scan in SageTV i only become 3 channels. in the log are "buffer error" for the card. Is the EPG now suportet?
