Avermedia m780 QAM issues

I've got 2 Avermedia m780 boards in my server, connected to Charter Cable on the digital inputs. I'm running Microsoft Vista so that I can tune QAM channels, but when I do a scan, I'm only getting 3 channels (although my HDHR can get around 60-65 channels). Is there a way to add the channels that I'm missing that I want to the Avermedia lineups? Not really sure why it only gets 3 channels (I should get at least the 7 that I'm using from my HDHR, the networks and a couple others). Looks like the 3 that I DO get are a partial list of the openqam networks on my service.

So basically, anybody know how to go about adding additional channels to the m780's in QAM mode, if they aren't found in a channel scan?

I use the m780 with OTA so I don't know about QAM...

but are you missing the channels in Sage or in the Avermedia software (or both)? If it's just Sage that is having a problem, you can manually add channels (through the channel setup menus). If it's missing in both, then it sounds like a driver issue...

Never used the Avermedia software, so not sure if they are there or not. I DO know that the HDMR picks up way more channels than the m780 though.

you may want to try... at least then you know if the issue is with the card or with Sage...

I know Sage picked up all the same OTA channels that the Avermedia software did. Don't know about QAM though...
