I'm going to have my withholdings adjusted for the '08 yr if I get as big of a return as I think. didn't want to mess w/ it until I had 2yrs running w/ similar deductions ya know.

i'd love to update the server to an AMD 6000 dual core. but most of it will probably go into savings accounts.

I don't like it when politicians try to buy my vote using my own money, so instead of spending it on myself, I'm going to donate mine to a local arts group.

All I really need to get is an EVGA superclocked 8800GT. All the rest can go into the Canada road trips savings fund.
Well, maybe if I get more alot more than I expect to, maybe I'll thrown down for a larger hdd or a new monitor. :P

i've heard it pronounced like "hoot" but rarely used in conversation IRL.

my personal favorite, though I'd need 10yrs worth of "stimulus" rebates to get it, would be a PSG-1.

I'm thinking 2 more HD extenders. That will eliminate all my MVP and PC clients.

Edit: Wow, this is my 500th post. I didn't think I spent that much time on the boards. My wife may be right that I need another hobby.

Nah, that can't be true. Sage is a great hobby, but with the HD extenders it certainly is a lot less nerve-wracking.

with some fine tuning of the numbers looks like i'm owing only $31....which is perfect. definately do not need to let the gov't earn interest on my money.

In the UK what they giveth with one hand, they taketh with the other.

Of course, it's never going to happen, but if it did I'd get an HD extender.

Enjoy your rebate.... and don't tell the Mrs what you did with it

Not sure if you knew this: "The checks are an advance on next year's refunds, and most, if not all of the money, will be deducted from taxpayers' refunds in 12 months' time." http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/...lus/index.html

I was a bit concerned about that too but after further investigation, it's not troubling unless you don't work (or don't work much) in 2008.

According to the plan, in 2008 taxes will be cut from 10 percent to zero on the first $6000 of taxable income for individual tax payers.
