DVD from HDD Quality
I am using a Core2 Duo 2.2GHz PC with 2GB RAM. Nothing is running except Sage (no AV, etc). TV plays back fine and looks great. I have my DVDs ripped to file folders (VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS). I can play them back and all functions work. However, the quality leave a lot to be desired. No skipping or freezing, but it looks like it's running 15fps! I've tried putting the data on a different drive, changing the MPEG2 decoder, overlay settings, etc to no avail. Can anyone advise me? I have hit a dead end. Oh, it's happening with all DVDs, not just one. Almost forgot that important piece of troubleshooting detail!

I assume you've got an issue with how you ripped them... Can you play them back in another program (such as VLC) and see how they look?

I can play them back in other programs just fine. I ripped them without any re-encoding. They are straight off DVD. I was actually trying another PVR app originally that I didn't like as much as sage (GBPVR). They would play great in GBPVR. Wierd...

not sure what to tell you then... sorry. I play everything through extenders/MVPs and never had an issue.
