				Audio Stutter on one Channel

So, I have a SAGE system that is whole-house. It has worked great for a longwhile, so I leave it alone. It is Sage 6.0

I noticed that lately the audio stutters on our local ABC HD channel using HDHomerun. All the other HD channels like CBS, NBC, FOX, work fine. I don't know when this started since I rarely watch ABC, but I know it didn't always do this. Something changed in how they broadcast I assume because I didn't change anything in Sage. This wouldn't surprise me since our ABC affiliate has always been a little weird/different than other HD locals in terms of sub-channels, 720p and the audio encoding in general.

Playback of the ABC recordings consistently stutters, so I thought it was in the recording. However, testing playback in ZoomPlayer and VLC there are no stutters so now I'm left with this being a SAGE problem.

I am using the same filters in Sage that I use in Zoomplayer (sonic video, ac3filter audio, overlay).

The only thing I can think of that might be different is the demux. This doesn't seem to be configurable in Sage.

I tried "encode_digital_tv_as_program_stream=true" so the HDHomerun files are .mpg now instead of .ts but the stutter remains.

So, any theories on whether upgrading to latest version Sage would help fix this? I am very hesitant to do this because everything works and I'm in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" camp, but I wlll do it if I think it will fix the problem.

Or, is there something else I can try? Can I reconfigure Sage to use a different demux? Anything else?

Thanks for your help,

Bob
