That fixed the problem where first runs were bing kicked out later in the week for reruns, but I don't think it affects a situation where two first runs are scheduled at the same time.

Not sure though since I have change my configurations so many times .

That is something to check though Pantheis. I think this is set to True by default now but make sure.

98011 is my zip code, and I'm using Comcast, with their digital platinum package. This problem did indeed happen with the Wednesday night episode of Enterprise.

There were no other scheduled recordings for that night. Looking back through the scheduled recordings log, it shows a huge time frame where nothing was scheduled to be recorded.

I will check the option in the sage.properties file and see if it is set or not and try tweaking it. I wouldn't mind it looking ahead to find another of the same episode, but I just want to make certain that it is doing it based on the favorites list order as well as making sure that if there isn't a conflict, it records the first available airing of the show.

Nobody wants to wait an extra 3 days (4 in my case as I work nights) to see a show.

I should also mention that this didn't seem to be a problem until I upgraded to the Sage 2.0 beta. I may not be completely correct on this, but I didn't seem to notice issues like this until the upgrade.

This has kind of already been beaten to death but I just got hit by this one. I have a favorite for The King of Queens (it is both first run & rerun, I just double-checked) that picks up the two syndicated showings every night without fail. However, tonight there were two First Run episodes and neither got recorded. Both show up in the guide with the white, favorites border. I didn't catch it ahead of time so I have no idea if it was in the recording schedule. I'm sure it wasn't a conflict as I have 3 tuners and don't have too many favorites and, at this point, no manual recordings scheduled.

I've tried coming up with why that favorite would fail when others are working but I can't find a pattern. Is anyone else continuing to have problems with favorites?
