Keyboard Volume Control?

After installing Sage, the Volume & Mute buttons on it control the volume control inside Sage (if Sage is running), whereas I'd rather it be like it used to (has it's own little volume visual popup and controls the system volume)... i.e. sometimes I may wanna pause Sage, play some music or something else with another app.

Played with the Command settings, tried Unlinking but doesn't recognize the vol. button as a keystroke.

Any suggestions?

I have an optical desktop from Microsoft and it seems to work okay.

I'm not sure about configuring from within SageTV, but have you tried using the control panel provided by Microsoft? You can remap keys using it.

FYI, when I press the volume buttons on my keyboard, both the system volume and the SageTV volume changes.

I'm not sure if this helps, but since no one else was answering, I thought I'd add my 2 cents.

Thanks for the tip Steve.

Strange all of a sudden the keyboard vol control started acting right, and I don't think I changed anything. Hmm, maybe a reboot did it not sure - hope it stays the way it is now 'cuz it's working like I expect.

Great to hear its working.

I've been having issues with my keyboard dropping out on me lately, but I'm thinking it's related to my Skype phone.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that your problem stays gone.
