New theme-issue with highlight button and dialog boxes

I know this is more a Studio thread but felt the people who frequent this forum have the better expertise to answer this.

I just created a new theme for the defult STV. (Sage Pro). I replaced the default menu bar with one of an orange color. But what I am notcing, and there is no consistency, that depending where I am in Sage and what Dialog box (or sometime a main screen.) the text (and icons if they are there)for the menu will sometimes appear on top of the menu bar (as it should) or sometimes underneath the menu bar (as it shouldn't.) With it underneath it makes it more difficult to sometimes read the text, see the icon or it just plain looks wrong. My question: is this something I am doing wrong? Or is it a bug or inconsistency with the core?

I used this as the example because I could show it on the same dialog box. All the choices work correctly EXCEPT "Rows". I have seen the problem on the entire dialog of the malore options and some others. There are a few screens where the icons on the left side are obviously under the highlight. So it's just not the menu bar but the button highlight also.

Any help would be appreciated.

We had this issue in SageMC. The text has to be assigned to LayerForeground or else it will be drawn behind the selection bar.

FYI, I can't see any of the images you posted this morning.

So wouldn't that need to be fixed in the default STV? I'm just adding the graphic pieces.

(PS-you mean the images in the post above, or over in the customizations? I tested and those images are on my comcast website. Maybe they cahnged something and I have to move them. The images show up for me.)

There were still some places in the default STV that didn't have the button contents on the correct layer. This has already been fixed & will be in the next update. If there are still any such issues in the next version, let me know.

Thanks for the info. The other example I should have listed is the Weather screen.



As you can see in the 10 day view it is fairly obvious.

P.S.-I think I corrected the image issue and you should now see them in the post. Let me know if it is still an issue.

The v6.3.7 RC has the update that I mentioned above, so let me know if there are still any problems like this.

Oh -- and I fixed the "background.jpg" name that the theme system looks for, so be sure to match the lower case 'b' now.
