Sony Location Free Device & SageTV

Has anyone tried this combo? Curious to know if it works with a PC running SageTV connected to it. Using my PSP as a Sage Client would be.. incredible!

Nope. I asked the same question shortly after the release of the LocationFree server. I even tried to find a way to reverse engineer the Sony protocol to write a Sage plugin to stream converted videos to my PSP. No go.

Should work! You can control a PC from the PSP using the Region Free Player

Here's a guy on YouTube demonstrating how it works with BeyondTV. Why wouldn't it work the same way with Sage?

Ah, different approach than mine. I wanted to recreate the LocationFree server for the Sage as a plugin and let it stream natively.

Hi,

Has anyone progressed a PSP client idea.

It must be top of most PSP owners wish lists and would probably draw a new raft of customers to the wonders of SageTV.

A PSP client application would be fantastic and I'm sure lots of people would be interested.

Any progress or SageTV interest?

Thanks,

David
