MCE remote power button
When I press the power button on the remote, the computer goes to sleep but SageTV also exits for some reason so it's not there when I wake it up.
Oh and of course nothing gets recorded... If I press the power button on the computer (which is setup to sleep), the computer goes to sleep and SageTV is still there when I wake it up. Everything else with the remote is working fine. I am running Vista Ultimate 32bit. Last edited by laixer; 01-15-2008 at 08:05 AM. |

Unlink that button from the "power" command in the Detailed Setup-Commands of Sage. I guessing that button got associated to it.

Thanks for the idea. I went to the "Unlink" menu and it asked me to press the button at which point I pressed the Power button. The PC went to sleep and when I woke it up, SageTV was gone. Where are these commands stored? I'll try to find it myself in the meanwhile. |

Look in the sage.properties file (or sageclient.properties file). You'll know them when you see them. I think they may start with ir but I'm at work now.

I have solved the problem and it was mostly due to my inattentiveness and did not have anything to do with SageTV. I used LM Remote Keymap to create a map for my IR blaster. I didn't notice that the program had added itself to startup. It was the one that was sending a close message to SageTV when power was pressed.
Now on to figure out why SageTV is not waking up the computer for scheduled recordings... |
