ATI remote wonder not working after upgrade from v6.2.10 - v6.3.5

After installing v6.3.5 and upgrading the SageMC STV to v6.3.6b, my ATI Remote Wonder doesn't function. Many buttons don't work, like channel -/+, and others seem to act like windows is in the foreground not SageTV.
I had to change the settings in ATI Remote Wonder utility by nielm to "One set for all features" just to get the "a,b,c,d,e,f" buttons to function as I programmed them to.

Anyone have any ideas??

Did you upgrade java from 1.4 by chance. I had very similar issues until I realized that I upgraded my java and there is a line in the remote control .ini that had to be changed. But after I changed that line everything now works. I have the remote wonder II.

What Line did you change and which file

Are you speaking of the sageTV.ini file in the remote control folder?

I have the Remote Wonder II as well and yes I just did upgrade the Java to 1.6.0_03 because the new SageMC16x9 requires it.

Sigh... always little things to fix....

Yes. Change SageTvWinClass=sage.SpecialWindow

to
SageTvWinClass=SunAwtFrame

and you should be fine.

Oops, I spoke too soon... still having the issue. But I am almost positive it is directly linked with this command.

I still have no idea where you came up with that though. I found a old thread by Nielm in which you had to modify it from SageTvWinClass=sage.SpecialWindow to SageTvWinClass=sage.ak

What version of Java are you running and what version of Sage?

The line is in your ATI remote wonder directory. Here is where mine is located. C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\RemCtrl\Plug-Ins It is the file SageTV.ini. You must then stop and restart the remote control software for it to take affect. I have attached the file that I use.
Attached Files
File Type: zip SageTV.zip (2.2 KB, 147 views)

Awesome, that did the trick... It was the Java 1.6 that messed it up. I owe you BIG TIME. Thanks!
