phantom HDHR atsc tuner

Hi all,

A while back (about a year), i purchased and installed a HDRH tuner on my sage server. Once I realized that I had no HD channels available, I removed the capture device and the software and left it at that.

I now live in an area where there is atsc HD content and would like to configure Sage to use it.

There is a problem however.

I have no HDHR software installed on the sage server and yet, in the "setup video sources" -> "add new source" I can see the following ": "HDHomeRun ATSC Capture on 127.0.0.1:6970". I believe this is a vestige from a prior attempt to setup the HDHR. However, I am unable to remove it.

I am running SageTV 6.3.5 in service mode and have uninstalled all HDHR software and rebooted the server.

How can I remove this phantom HDHR atsc tuner that appears in my tuner list.

Thanks

That entry is from when the HDHR was configured as a network encoder. This is now obsolete. I am surprised that Sage will not let you delete it. I think your only option now is to manually delete the entry from the Sage properties file. You need to completely shutdown Sage before editing the Sage properties file.

Thanks. That did the trick.
