thanks

I think it's more to do with the actual transport stream of ITV-HD not the tuning that's the problem. I use the DVBViewer network encoder so I know sage is tuning it, it just won't display the channel.

i actually tied this evening again both methods, dvbviewer stream to sage, and sage directly to dvb-s2 - both fail the render.

the stream is indeed tweaked so that the normal dvb-s2 decoders do not realise that this is a standard mpeg4 stream, ITV just trying to be sure that freesat is the main platform for the channel.

My idea was really to add the extra settings to the .FRQ file, which would premit sage to handle the stream in a similar fashion to how we tweak the settings on DVBViewer.

I'm sure if Mediaportal can do ITV-HD then it wont be long before Sage can too.

Fingers crossed

I wonder how closely the Sage developers monitor other products in that way, I guess they need to keep with the pack as it were...

I would like to think that Sage staff read these forums and could work out for themselves that we would love to see this working.

ITV-HD does actually work with the latest beta in a round-about-way, it just doesnt work with live tv.

Or, if you actually wanted Sage to do something about it, you could follow the link on the forums home page. It's always worked for me
