I think I figured out where I went wrong-maybe. I wasn't a member on their sight. If you go to www.elecard.com and click to eval their software it is still 2.1 zip file. Now I just registered and went to get their eval software and from that page it is a 2.2 zip file. Well I guess it's email time to Elecard. Thanks for pointing that out.

TomsMoComp seems to have a small, but notable improvement in deinterlacing fast motion over Greedy. Well, notable to me. The wife didn't see any difference Anyways, I made TomsMoComp the default filter |

I've tried the later versions and this always happens, then only one that works is an older version that doesn't quite look so well. Descaler won't even work with that version, just gives a black screen. |

There is a thread that discusses how to use 2.2. That version is brand new so most of us (including Sage) don't really use it. Version 2.1 and earlier work just fine though.

I want to try the dscaler thing, but where can I find the 2.1 trial download? I can only find 2.2 and I'd rather not jump through all the hoops to get it to work.
