STX-HD100 hangs at "Configuration Wizard" screen

I just purchased an STX-HD100 and installed a licensed copy of SageTV 6.3 on a new Vista Home Premium computer. The HD100 boots fine, and I've updated the firmware to the latest release (12212007). When I choose the SageTV server from the HD100, the display shows connecting for a few seconds and then displays the "Configuration Wizard" asking me to select my language. At that point, the HD100 no longer responds to commands from the remote or the front panel. The indicator lights on the HD100 still act normally, but the screen never changes. The only way to get out of the "lock-up" is to cycle the power using the power switch on the back of the unit.

I've removed and/or turned off any Windows firewalls/antivirus and even connected the HD100 directly to the computer with a ethernet crossover cable to rule out any router/networking issues. I've tried two different TVs to make sure it wasn't a resolution/output issue. I also reset the HD100 using the procedure outlined here:

Finally, I've searched the forums looking for similar problems and have not been able to find a resolution. I'm looking for additional troubleshooting ideas.

After a couple of emails with Sage support, upgraded to latest beta release of SageTV server and STX-HD100 works fine now.

Why did you not upgrade to SageTV 6.3.5 final?

No reason...I actually didn't realize that it was available. I think I loaded 6.3 release candidate 4. We talked about upgrading the STX-HD100 firmware to the latest beta, but that didn't work, so that got me thinking about beta software.

I'll load 6.3.5 final tonight.
