Can I hide HD recordings from my MVP's???
Is there a way to keep HD recordings from showing up on an MVP?? The transcoding murders my server... 4% CPU during SD shows, 100% CPU during HD. I know how to hide the channels in the program guide with the favorite channel list plug-in but haven't figured out how to keep the recordings away from the MVP's..
I run an Athlon 64 4000 with 1.6tb storage.. It works fine for everything until the MVP gets a taste of an HD show.. I use 2 client PC's to watch the HD stuff, and do not have a need for the new HD extender.. Yet... The MVP's are all connected to SD tv's still.. Thanks.

In the SageTV Recordings menu, use the filter settings to filter out HDTV recordings.

Here's a tricky one... How about show HD recordings in clients and ALSO not recording shows requested byt the client with the HD tuner?
