Double check your Macbreak tech link becaue that one works for me. If you aren't using the v6.3.8 beta, then you may need to use it for this feed to work. If you are using the beta, then check the test STV I mentioned a couple posts above -- that was one of the sample links I left in the custom link file.

twim enhanced won't work because SageTV currently isn't able to play the format it is using.

Is there a "how to" on adding custom podcasts?

Here are a few I would like to see added. All from G4TV

Yes -- this forum section has a sticky titled: How To: Add custom online video feed definitions (default STV; v6.3.10).

TED - Technology, Entertainment, & Design Feeds in HD

I work at TED and just wanted to share our newly available HD feed. You'll find talks on everything from physics, philosophy, music, politics, to juggling. If you want to check it out before adding to Sage you can see it all online at:

http://www.ted.com/talks

Here's the settings I used to add it to Sage. I'm using the SageMC STV so I believe that how you add it will depend on your Sage version and whether or not you're using the default STV:

Mods to OnlineVideoLinks.properties:

# added TED to the end of this key
xPodcastHD/Categories=xHiddenUniverseHD,BeautifulPlacesinHD,HDYosemitewithTonyFarley, ComedyInsider,Diggnation,HubblecastHD,HubblecastFullHD,WashtingtonPostHD,NASACastVideo,TED
# added this to the bottom of the file
TED/URLContext=http://feeds.feedburner.com/TEDTalksHD

Mods to OnlineVideoUIText.properties:
# added 3 lines to the bottom of the file
Category/TED/ThumbURL=http://ted.streamguys.net/TEDTalksvideo_tile_144.jpg
Category/TED/LongName=TED Talks - Ideas worth spreading
Category/TED/ShortName=TED Talks

The G4TV and TEDTalks feeds have been added for the next online video update.

Share your online feeds

I don't see a sticky in this section related to this, so I thought I would start one.
I would like to see what others have set up in their online section in Sagetv.
If we can get this going well, we will all have one place to look for online feeds which work well with SageTV.

I will start with my first contribution

Systm:
Code:
xFeedPodcast/Systm=xPodcastScienceTech;http://revision3.com/systm/feed/quicktime-high-definition
* merged & adding an entry to the list of customizations *

Sorry, I must have read right over this thread..... Thanks for the merge.

Opus,

Do you have an updated list?

Would HULU work in SageTV?

Is that a podcast feed?

I believe there's a whole separate topic for Hulu.

Sorry, not a podcast feed.

Do you have an updated list of your podcasts? I know some podcast have both HD and SD versions.

You have the list: all feeds are in <SageTV install path>\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3\OnlineVideos\OnlineVideoLinks.properties.

When an update is released for your version of SageTV, SageTV will update that file automatically.

For those TWIT Fans, ODTV posts the latest month of TWIT Video recordings in Podcast format. Tried it on my placeshifter and it worked.

Ehh?

I take it you meant to say the ODTV feed has been added to the next build?

He's talking about your Hak5 suggestion I think.

I was referring to HAK5, the one I quoted. ODTV just reposts someone else's video that they recorded from a flash player. They don't own the video and could possibly be shut down if the owner notices & cares.
