RC Problem: Audio Compression Error
Just upgraded today..previously using 6.3.2 with no problems. During live playback I get:
"There was a capture error in playback. Details error (179,0xo) There was a problem setting up software audio compression". THis is with the Hauppauge Roslyn card. Audio recognized I think as "Hauppauge WinTV 888x audio". I'm pretty sure it has to do with the card and this new version. I noticed that during video card setup there is a new audio setup screen. I've tried adjusting the audio/decoder settings and everything else, removed and added source. Same results. Reverting back to previous version works fine. Any help would be great since this version is going live and i'm a little late getting this working. Thanks, Juc

Set this registry value to fix the problem:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Frey Technologies\Common\AdditionalCaptureSetups\Hauppauge WinTV 88x Video Capture\CaptureMask=0x800

That registry entry was only needed in SageTV V6. Can't help with the error though.

Thanks for confirming. I think somehow it lost the audio setting in the sage source.
Added it back and now shows picture and audio but terrible lip sync issues. Currently trawling the web to see if known issue on pvr350s. Worked perfectly on win7.
