Any Fios Users Able to Try this Out?

According to the quoted article, the QIP 6200 STB outputs unencrypted QAM. You'll need a QAM tuner to test it out. |

I am trying, my only hooked up QAM tuner is an HDHomerun at the moment. I have an Avermedia M180 I am going to try later.

As Mike suggested, it might make sense to try just plugging it into your TV and scanning.

My HD TV is not QAM capable.
Its too old I guess. Although it might be a good excuse to get a new TV. But I doubt my wife would buy that. |
