problem with standby
Hi,
I've been using sagetv for several weeks now, and I like it. But lately I have been having problems with the system not going back into standby after recording a show. I have reloaded my system several times thinking it was other software I installed, but it seems to be sage tv. On a side note, I also have a problem getting the epg from the internet for my local PBS channels, and when I do get some info for it, it has bogus info like show times at 2:30 in the morning (they go off the air at midnight.) The first time I had this problem of not going back into standby, I figured it was because I was playing with the beta version of sage and then switched back but retaining the newly created sage.properties and the .bin files. Reinstalling my system to the older sage install seemed to fix it, but now I tried setting sage to record one of these PBS shows at 2:30am to see if they might actually be still on the air, and I discovered that sage did not go back into standby. It was working for recordings earlier in the day. Anyway, have any of you had problems with sage not going back into standby? If so, what triggers it for you so that I can avoid it. I kind of want to be able to have sage record for me when I go out of town. Thanks in advance |

Just in case you developers are interested
As I stated above, I had a problem with Sagetv not letting my computer go to sleep. That is, it doesn't go into the S3 sleep state as it should when idle. It doesn't matter if it just made a successful recording or not. If I close Sagetv, my computer goes to sleep. It seems to be related to the two files Sage.properties and Wiz.bin. I forgot which I narrowed it down to, but here is a link to my two files that caused the problem on my system http://webs.lanset.com/koolj/sagetvfiles.zip just in case the developers are interested in working this bug. I am using the current version 6.2 and I am of the impression the file gets screwed up when sage tries to record a program on a station that was is off the air.

Thanks, I guess I glanced at it too quickly, I thought bug reporting was only for the upcoming version. I'll fill out the form later. Thanks.
