DirecTV - USB-UIRT- Schedule Recordings
Running Direct TV with the USB-UIRT. I have the USB-UIRT aimed directly at the DTV box about 2-3 inches away.
I am able to train the remote to change channels directly (DTV aligned with SageTV) with no problem. (with normal delay) However, when I try to schedule recordings the following happens: 1) It records at the right time but always the same channel 2) Even though shows are marked as set for recording (even when I return to them) - the "Recording Schedule" is blank. I am not sure about #2 but I think #1 has to do with communication between transmitter and DTV receiver during scheduling. If anyone else has DirecTV with the USB-UIRT on SageTV can you please explain your physical setup for running successful scheduled recordings? Thanks.
