Sound level with HVR-1600

Hey everyone!

I have just installed 2 HVR-1600s in a new Intel 775 Core2Duo dual cpu 3.0gig system. Love the computer, and SageTV, but am having curious sound problem with the HDTV side of the HVRs.

The sound level on the HDTV side of the cards is very low compared to the SDTV side, and the 3 USB2 Hauppauge devices I have hooked up. As you can see I am close to a 7 PVR system and could not be happier.

Anyone else bumped into this sound issue with the HVR-1600s?

Other than that they are working like a charm, with all 5 Hauppauge cards running and playing nice together without problems. I guess more SATA drives are in my future...

Thanks!
D.

Install AC3Filter and you can bump up the gain on the AC3 audio in your digital recordings to closer match your standard analog recordings.
