Mac Placeshifter

The Mac Placeshifter is still slow as all get out compared to the Windows version. It's also not quite as stable. Kind of unfortunate as it could be much better.

I agree. i'm not sure if it's the animation stuff or what, but navigating 6.3.1 is practically impossible. (2 GHz, Dual G5 PowerMac)

Even the v6.2 Mac Placeshifter was quite a bit slower than the Windows version.

I'm running on a brand new Mac Mini C2D 1.83Ghz machine. My server is Windows XP. It's even pretty buggy when it's on my LAN.
