Questions regarding HAVA box setup

Hey guys, I am getting my HAVA delivered today, and was cuirious, do I need to still use the usbuirt, or can I use the included IR thingy to change channels?

Man that HAVA box screwed up my whole system. It messes with the firewall or something. Nothing was working, internet explorer, sage.. I reset the computer so many times! Overall a headache. I think I am going to return it. Did a system restore, now everything back to normal again.

Oh well.

weird, I didn't have any problems like that. My hava box produces some very glitchy mpegs though. There is a firmware update that I am going to try but if that doesn't work I'll be returning mine too.
