I noticed the same thing. My HD recordings are reported correctly now for some reason. I did not even reboot and definitely did not change anything at all. This is really strange. Let's see if it stays that way...

Ok, I've got a file from Frey support that seems to have done the trick. Here are the instructions:

I spoke to a developer and he said to try this. Close SageTV and the service if running and go to your SagTV/Common folder and make a backup of your TSSplitter.ax file you have in there. Replace with the one I'm attaching.
Since I installed the file last week all my recordings from my HDHR have been detected correctly. I hope this helps for everyone else.

All of HDs are correctly reporting now. ABC which has been showing 1080i forever now shows 720p. I wonder if this might help with the MVP issues audio craziness with my ABC channel.

Exclamation Fix Tagging of Existing HD Content?

I have several 1080i shows that have been tagged incorrectly as 480i. Is it possible to fix the tag of prior HDTV recordings so they will convert and transcode properly?

Not to my knowledge. But you may contact support. Neilm's Web Server may be able to help out, but I'm not sure.
