Trancoding Problem

Anyone else having problems with HDHR recorded content not transcoding to the MVP or Placeshifter? I probably need to submit a bug report but just wanted to post here first.

I've determined that I think what's going on is that SageTV is seeing the files as 480i even though they are actually 1080i or 720p. The thumbnails on these files always show up in 4:3 rather than 16:9. When they are transcoded for the MVP or Placeshifter the audio comes through but no video.

I'm running 6.2 with the latest HDHR drivers. I believe this has been a problem since one of the betas, maybe since 6.2.8. I don't recall when it started. It's getting annoying though.

I need to make a correction, Placeshifter plays the files fine but displays them in 4:3 rather than the proper 16:9.

As you can see by my post there - it works right most of the time... but a few times it hasn't. (I don't use HDHR, I have 2 AverMedia 780s)

I've submitted an official support request about the problem. So hopefully they'll be able to figure out what's going on and fix it in the next version.
