Weather module maps issue

Recently when I bring up the weather feature. I can only get the current weather and 10 day forecast. The maps ( like the parcipitation map) do not bring up anything.
I am running the latest Sage update.

Any ideas?

I had same problem and I found the answer in another thread.

here it is...
Go into Detailed Setup, Advanced, Optimized Image Loader, disable it. That fixed the maps for me.

it's a bug in 6.2 that I have already reported.. it will be fixed in 6.3

Now that I have disabled the Optimized Image Loader I can see the weather maps
Now I want select my location and pick my maps of interest. I have found the popup menu to "Change Image details for" and changed some of the urls (using both TWC and intellicast urls) for the buttons but my map choices do not appear. I have tried to restart, etc and nothing seems to work.

Any help is appreciated

It will only show .jpg maps. No animated .gifs, flash, etc. So make sure the url that you use is actually referencing a .jpg.

This will work: http://image.weather.com/images/maps...al2_600_en.jpg

Go to where you would normally see the maps and either right-click or use the "Options" button.
