DVD Standard Play out of spec for DVD?
Sorry if I missed this in another thread, tried search and didn't get an answer...
When I try to use TMGPEnc DVD Author to create a disc of shows that I recorded in DVD Standard, it gives me error messages about the bitrates being "out of spec." When I go ahead and burn the disc anyway, the shows are choppy (both video and audio). Do I have to transcode these to a lower bitrate in order to burn them? If so, which recording quality in Sage can I use to ensure I don't have to transcode in the future? Thanks!

I use TMPGEnc DVD Author and have never had a problem using DVD Standard Play.
What version of DVD Author are you using? Have you changed the DVD Standard Play parameters in Sage? Can you post the MPG parameters of one of the failing files? What capture card are you using? Tom
