Unable to install SageTV on my dual monitor Mac Pro

Well, it's not so much that I can't install it, is that I can't see what the screen says because 3/4ths of the picture appears to be stomping on top of itself. See for yourself:

http://www.synthcom.com/~nb/SageTVShat.jpg I particularly like the "For SageTV to shat" part of the display. ;-) I laughed out loud. Anyway, I can't see enough to get SageTV to actually install and connect to my server. Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this? My configuration is as follows: Mac Pro, dual quad core, 9GB/memory, dual NVidia Geforce 7300GT cards. Thanks! Would love to watch TV on my new Mac. |

DOn't know what the problem is, but have you tried to run Sage on the other display? WHich one is the primary?

IIRC, in mac world, the display with the tool bar is primary like in PC-land.

Have you tried setting the display that sage is displaying on to a lower resolution like 800x600? I did have some problems at work with a mac laptop that didn't have standard 4:3 resolutions on the primary display when the second output was active. Maybe you can try Sage in a smaller window rather than a full monitor-sized one. |

After I posted it, I noticed the tool bar at the top of the monitor. Didn't see it before.

Yeah, I tried it on both monitors. Even if I move it, minimize it, restart, etc... makes no difference. It just never shows up correctly. ;-( And I'm glad you all like my pile 'o components. You should see the rest of the office!
