Sage keeps crashing

Just when I thought I had everything working… for some reason now whenever I try to open the program guide, watch live TV or watch a recording on the server or the client the Sage TV UI crashes. I attached some logs. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled once and the issue went away for a day then came back. I’m using the version Java that comes with Sage on the server (I think 1.42_13) and 1.6 update 2 on the client. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANX

Might check your DX9 install. Also, consider upgrading your java to 1.6u2.

I ran dxdiag on the client and tested the direct draw and D3D and everything passed. I reinstalled Java 1.6_U2... and when I try to open the program guide, watch live TV or watch a recording the client looses connection with the server. After about two minutes it comes back but it drops the connection again as soon as I try to any of the above again. I installed Java 1.6_U2 on the server ....still no change. I have attached th log from the client. It does appear to be Java related, but I have no clue what else to do....help.

I think the crash is related to your IR tuning plugin. Crashes when entering the EPG usually are linked to that (and your log points to that as well).

What are the details on your setup? Also; post your Sage.properties file so we can see your config.

I'm currently running Sage TV 6.1 on a P4 2.4 Ghz w/ 1Gb RAM and a GeForce 5200 FX video card. The OS on the server is Windows 2003 Server standard. The server has a Nvidia Dual TV and an ATI 550 capture card. The Client has WinXP SP2, an Athlon 64 2.2Ghz and 512Mb DDR RAM with GeForce 6150 video. There connected via 100mb wired LAN.

I meant the Sage.properties file from the server. Not the client. The crash is on the server.
