Will this work with SageTV?

I have a satellite dish that I use just for a particular international channel which is scrambled so needs a smartcard. Right now I use the receiver they gave me and it's S-video output goes to my SageTV HTPC but the thing is SageTV cant control this receiver so I always have to rely on the receiver's remot to change channels and recording shows is a nightmare without program guide data.

I have since found an XML stream for program guide data for this channel so I would like to now finally get rid of this receiver and replacing it with a DVB-S card in my HTPC.

Will this work with SageTV?

Do any of the ones under the list of SageTV compatible DVB cards come with smartcard support?

The only 3 DVB-S devices supporting a smart card that I know of are the TT 1500, TT-S3200 and FireDVB.

You also need to buy the appropriate CAM for your card.

After that it should work.
