No joy using a Mac Sage system

Greetings to the list,

I am having no luck with any of my setups getting the Mac version of Sage to work.

I started with a dual 1Ghz G4 system and then went and bought a new Mac Mini, but I am not able to get the MVP to work with either system. The screen freezes at Sage Startup screen on the MVP every time.

As a last resort, and to test my sanity, I D/L'ed a Windoze version of Sage and it worked fine. Please tell me I don't have to convert to a Win based system to get everything working.

Lastly I have tried everything I have seen here in the forum including deleting the .sagetv file and re-installing several times. Still no joy.

My configuration is:
Mac Mini (Brand New) running Tiger.
MVP using wired connection to Rotuer. (I bought this from Sage and a license for the Mac version.)
The license is installed and the MVP sees the Mini running Sage.
After clicking GO! it loads the app, and freezes at Sage Startup.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
