Forcing S3 Standby After SageTV Intiated Recording Completes
SageTV does a beautiful job of waking up my server when a scheduled recording is about to happen. My question is how to force the server back into S3 Standby mode only upon the condition that SageTV was the app that woke the server up?
The server runs various home theater applications including SageTV. One of the applications is Girder and sometimes it is the only application I have active on the server (SageTV is always in sleep mode when I am not using it). If I enable a standby time period in WinXP's Power Options control panel, the Girder application isn't enough to keep it from going to sleep so consequently I have it set to "never". Otherwise this would be the simplest solution to my problem.
If the server is already awake and doing something else when a recording period comes up and then completes, I'd obviously not want SageTV to force the server into standby at that point hence the reason for wanting to force a standby ONLY when SageTV was the app that woke the server up.
I have not been able to find in the documentation or other posts whether this is possible with SageTV or SageWake or whether there is some other application that can do this. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks
