PS3 Will Double Up As PVR

That means they've added all the GUI elements for an EPG, recording, playing back recordings etc. - and probably support for playing back whilst recording.

So could they plug that GUI into a different server - such as, say, SageTV?

Obviously the answer is "no reason at all to think they will". Still, it's an interesting step towards matching the 360's role as an extender for Media Center.

FUD. This company sues everyone that uses more than 1 uP. Intel, by their accounts, is guilty of the same thing. This law suit is nothing more than grabbing for "free money" or attention.
