SageTV play nicely with Snapstream??

I currently have three tuners dedicated to Sage. Has anyone with multiple tuners tried using one of the tuners dedicated to Snapstream and have both SageTV and Snapstream running at the same time? I haven't tried Snapstream for about 9 months, so I'm interested in testing it out but would like to keep Sage going as well. I'm bored, it's something to mess with until the beta comes out...

Same thing here. Just for fun I do run SS but I have had to do it on another PC. I have not been able to get them to play nice on the same PC with both running.

As long as SS was running I could not load Sage and the same vice versa. SS only seems to see the first tuner card there (or maybe the last) so it is real hard to setup. If you get it working let me know, I would like to have both going on my play PC.

Also, I did not try it with 3.4, just 3.3.

Hehehe...(to SHS comment)

But I would imagine you wouldn't have a way for everything to play nicely.

I'm running both on one machines at the same time.

1.8 gig Pentium 4
multiple hard drive arrays (3 terabytes total storage)
2 PVR-250s
1 USB2-PVR

And one secret peice of software that most people know about but probably haven't thought of using!

OK... I'll bite. What is it? I have three PVR-250's and a PVR-USB2. Most of the time at least one of the tuners is sitting idle, I'd love to have that tuner dedicated to Snapstream to play around a bit. Something to do while waiting for 2.0

www.vmware.com

Run both SageTV and BeyondTV in there own virtual machine

Seems to work well provided you have the memory. You could probably do this with 512MB of memory or more.
