Using a Wiimote for a client mouse?
Has anyone tried using a Wiimote for a Sage client remote? I'm considering going Client Server, but it seems the remote is a pain on the client side. I don't want to spend $50-$60 on just a remote solution on top of the client pricing. I currently use the Hauppage remote that came with the PVR-150 and it works great.
I did see that folks are using the Wiimotes with PC's via Bluetooth and thought that might be pretty cool. I'll need another remote for the Wii, so this could do double duty. A search didn't pull up anything when I tried. Thanks, Erich |

Getting the client to do anything in response to the wii remote would be a lot more of a pain IMHO. If you're going client/server, why don't you just move the hauppauge remote to the client? Streamzap is another easy solution.
I haven't tried this but I suppose you could point your wii to your servers web plugin. |
