Font size for the submenu listing recordings within a folder...
none of the font size choices in Sage.properties allow me to force these to a large size. They are too small to see on NTSC 4:3 via the MVP's quality.

What property, apparently unlisted, controls this list?

In sage 4.1, the list used a larger font as shown in the attachments.

I compared the STVs... the top area used to overlap the bottom by a little bit, so that was fixed. That small height change made the text shrink a little bit to fit the space. There is a TableComponent widget in Studio named ListAiring which has a Pad Y setting of 0.005... I changed that to be 0.0 & the text was shown a little larger. The next beta will have that setting. BTW: it wouldn't help to change any font size for this because it just gets shrunk to fit the space anyway.

thanks. I'd also like a means to disable the thumbnail pictures on the recording folder menu pages. It slows things down and for me costs valuable screen space at MVP sizes and adds nothing useful, at least IMO.

Will watch for a beta with this change in it. I don't intend to take the Studio plunge anytime soon, after breaking my brain on engineering in my day job.

Attention to font size and pixels per letter are important to the MVP since it has just 720 x 480 raster and s-Video chroma-crawl effects blur and smear things that are (a) smaller than about 4 pixels (like skinny letters) or (b) use colors that are close to RGB (NTSC's infamous subcarrier chroma-crawl). Boldface font 20 pts is the smallest that is MVP compatible with a 10 ft viewing distance, IMO. I've found that black typeface on non-primary colors work best with NTSC composite/s-Video, and black on white or light grey is a bandwidth demand that can't be well met. The luminance bandwidth in NTSC is less than 3.58 MHz due to the color subcarriers. that's not much bandwidth for small font features.

I sencond this. An option to 1) not to shrink font size and 2) not to show album art etc. That would give a much better overview on the screen
