Question DVD Playback - Remember where I stopped?

Does anyone know if there is a way to have the DVD Player resume from where I stopped? I have two young children and I only get about 30 minutes at a time to watch TV (thus the need for SageTV and my ReplayTV!) but when I am watching a DVD it takes a while just to get back to where I left off.

Is there a setting to preserve the spot where a DVD was stopped?

Thanks for your help in advance!!!

Imported hard drive based DVDs can remember how much was watched & you are given the choice of restarting or resuming the next time that imported DVD is played. But, SageTV doesn't store any Watched info for DVD disks, since they are not imported & are simply played directly from the DVD drive.

Are there any plans to store resume information for all types of DVDs? I have hard drive-based DVDs in VIDEO_TS folders and although when I play a DVD it asks if I want to resume, it ALWAYS starts from the beginning. Any ideas on how to fix that or if it's a bug?

The info is stored for imported DVDs. I think resuming depends on the DVD decoder, so try a different one; there might be a case where if it can't resume the DVD, it just restarts it.

If that isn't the case, then you should probably contact SageTV.
