Feature Req: Summer's here, time to request movie channel IR selection again

Now that summer is here, Sage is wanting to record Movies on basic cable / network broadcast channels again through Intelligent Recording. So I'd like to request, again, the ability to select either of:

* which channels are allowed to record Movies via IR; OR
* which channels are NOT allowed to record Movies via IR

IMNSHO, cable/broadcast edits of movies are NOT the same as their premium counterparts, and I really don't want to watch such edits, ever. However, I don't want to hit "Don't Like" or "Watched" on something just because it's on such a channel, as that will adversely affect IR statistics.

Seems to me this would be a good candidate for a third-party add-on. The way you'd work it would be to disable IR and use the API to retrieve a list of programs that IR would have recorded. (This much is already available via the Intelligent Suggestions add-on.) Then you could run that list through a custom filter, using whatever criteria you please, to decide which programs to schedule as manual recordings. The virtue of doing this as an add-on is that it permits the custom filtering part to evolve much more quickly than the regular Sage release schedule.

But if you really want it as a built-in feature, submit it to Sage via a bug report or support request. The devs don't read every post on these forums and so don't always pick up on feature requests posted here.
