Watch a DVD with subtitle from srt file

Can this be done in Sage?

Sometimes i get a dvd which does not have hebrew on it.
I can get an srt file for that dvd, but I cannot watch the movie, I need to do some actions in order to recode it.

Someone metined these progrmas:

http://www.dvdsubber.com/about.asp
http://www.trustfm.net/divx/Software...llaPlayer.html

Which should allow you to watch a dvd and superimpose the srt file on it, using the timecode from the dvd, so that it is synchrionized.

Can this be done in Sage?

I wish....you could do it if you wanted to hard-sub the SRT onto a Divx/Xvid/AVC encode.

Embedded SRT/SSA/ASS files in OGM/MKV files would be awesome too - and being able to select between differenct audo streams in an imported file would cause me to never have to exit Sage ever again.

the whole idea is to NOT embed it, but have the regular dvd play, and supertranspose the srt on it.
Like it is done with regular divx, whatever movies

Understood, AFAIK, there isn't any way to do with with Sage's built-in mplayer crappiness.

would this mean that if we have an smi file, and play dvd and have CC plugin, we could potentially show the smi file as SMI on the dvd movie?

What should the file be named?
