Built in EPG Problem

I am in the UK and using the built in guide with a DVB-T, dual tuner the guide seems to be ok apart from it only shows whats on in the next hour how can I make it so i can see wots on for the next day or so?

several people seem to have this problem.

The only solution I've seen is to give up and use XMLTV instead

OK thanks, since im new here how do you use that XMLTV for use with DVB-T?

The sticky at the top of the SageTV United Kingdom forum is probably a good start.

Stephane's NEW XMTV importer looks good if youre using Java 1.6.

Altough I use Alan Birtles’s Radio Times XMLTV grabber to get the actual data

FYI I've tried Demideus' Plugin and Nielm's Multiple importer (cant find a link for that) and have had no issues with either.

Mapping the channels to the XMLTV info is a bit tricky. I found I needed to look into the frq file that get generated for the tuner and then set the logical channel to that number for the appropriate XMLTV channel name. (Dont scan for channels again, I did that and ended to with lots of useless channel names)
