Sage TV fails to respond

I just recently started to use SageTV on a PC built specifically for my tuner card. My problem is that Sage corrupts after only an hour or so of running. It does not completely lock up, but the buttons disappear, or it wont respond to fast forward or rewind commands. It does appear that it is still recording programs, as i run the SageTV service seperate from the user interface, but it is rather annoying that must restart the user interface after every show or two that i watch, or after waking the machine from idle. I have my PC set to never go to sleep, however it does turn off the screen after half hour of idle time.

I am running a Windows based PC with an AMD Atlhon 64 3400+ processor at 2.21 GHz, with 512mb of RAM, and a 150 GB hard drive. I have a Hauppagge PVR 150 tuner card, if that is needed as well. I hope that someone can shed some light onto why this keeps happening, as it a pain in the ass to have to restart the interface so often.

Where did you get your copy of SageTV, and what version is it? It sounds like you are trying to use a bad/buggy crack that you found on the internet somewhere, because that is the only cause I know of for what you describe. If so, I suggest you download the real thing and consider buying a license.

If you aren't trying to use a buggy crack, then contact SageTV tech support because they would be interested in whatever else could cause that problem.

I recieved the copy of sage from a friend of mine, but i am not sure where he got it. He installed everything while i was away at class, and when i was back it was running. If this is the case, I will attempt to purchase a licensed version as soon as i raise the necessary monies.
