Question Sage Beta 3.0.7 fails on startup

When I load Beta 3.0.5 everything works great. I have downloaded Sage 3.0.7 three times, and attemtped to install.

I attempted to install with removing 3.0.5, and after the install Sage will not start.

The Sage splash screen will appear, act like it is loading, the splash screen will close, and Sage is not running.

I attempted a clean install of Sage 3.0.7 with the same results.

I cannot locate any type of error file that identifies why Sage is closing

I am in need of some real help in determing the cause of this problem.

Pleae advise as to what I should look for to find the error.

Thanks
Gary

You probably should also file a bug report on this.

I was able to find the cause and a solution to my 3.0.7 issues. I had to add a line to exlude my ATI Radieon x700 pro card from the capture devices. Now sage works as it should.

Thanks

Hmmm....in my case i had to add a line concerning an ATI device as well. Could it be some sort of issue with ATI devices? Something concerning their drivers?

Follow the link I posted above. If it still fdoesn't make sense, let us know which part needs clarification.
