help needed with PredefinedScan.frq and Hauppauge WinTV 88x Video Capture(DVB-S)-0

Need help configuring my NOVA S PCI DVB card - has anyone got a working configuration file?

I tried to edit the file (Hauppauge WinTV 88x Video Capture(DVB-S)-0.frq) but it doesn't work - this is what is in it

#DVBT channel setup table ver 2.1, country:New Zealand

loaded predefined freq table: 1 channel freq
total_channel:10
#ch:index onid tsid program_id freq band 0 ctrl_bits(1:enable; 0:disable)
ch:1 169 6 1031 12519 8 0 1 #TV1
ch:2 169 6 1032 12519 8 0 1 #TV2
ch:3 169 5 1033 12483 8 0 1 #TV3
ch:4 169 5 1034 12483 8 0 1 #C4
ch:5 169 11 1037 12546 8 0 1 #Prime
ch:6 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 #
ch:7 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 #
ch:8 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 #
ch:9 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 #
ch:10 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 #

I also added to the PredefinedScan.frq
"New Zealand"=[ (12519,8),
(12483,8), (12546,8){tune=1, pat=6, sdt=16} ];

Thanks

Just a quick update

With the help of a friend in the UK, I have managed to get my DVB-S card working using OPTUS 1D.

By adding the following info just before the last line of the PredefinedDVBS.frq file

"OPTUS 1D (160.0 E)"
frq:12394000 rate:22500 fec-rate_in:3 pol:2
frq:12420000 rate:22500 fec-rate_in:3 pol:2
frq:12483000 rate:22500 fec-rate_in:3 pol:1
frq:12519000 rate:22500 fec-rate_in:3 pol:2
frq:12519000 rate:22500 fec-rate_in:3 pol:1
frq:12581000 rate:22500 fec-rate_in:3 pol:2

I restarted sage and went to channel setup, selected OPTUS 1D from the providers list and scanned for channels. This then populated the Hauppauge WinTV 88x Video Capture-0-DVB-S.frq file with all the channels.

Thankyou Doc - I owe you a beer!
