playing DVD problem

Hello,
I want to play dvd which stored in my server using my sage clients
I know that i must create network drive in the client with the same letter of the drive in the server , but...
I can not do it... the server drive is D and in my client the second partiton of my HD drive is D
any other option except to change the HD drive partiotion to E and map D as network Drive?
thank u in advance
Dror.

Yes, simply map the drive (from the server) on a different drive letter.

Use UNC paths for the imports instead of drive letters.

i'm not sure I understnad both soultions...
I tried to create in the server new network drive(R) linked to the local drive
and in the client map the same network drive (R) to the shared drive in the server - doesn't work!
about the UNC soultion - I didn't understand what to do

UNC:

Just create a share of the folder, whatever you want to call it.

Then in Sage, specify the UNC path to the share as the import directory: \\server\sharename

UNC paths work from any PC on the network.

If you run Sage as a service, then make sure it is running as a user to map UNC paths like this. By default, Sage service runs as LOCAL SYSTEM which won't be able to do this. Select a different user and all should be good. Have the same user defined on the other system too.
