DVD Decoder problem
I'm having playback issues with my DVDs. When I install a dvd decoder (I've tried PowerDVD 5, 6 and the NVIDIA decoder), they work fine, until I reboot. With PowerDVD 6, I was able to play dvds after running the powerdvd application and reopening the disc. After doing this, I was able to play DVDs in Sage. I'm really hoping someone has seen and resolved this problem already.
I hoped that installing NVIDIA decoder would help, but after reboot, same thing. Here's the error |

In Detailed Setup try using the Cyberlink Audio Renderer....I ran into the same problem on my wifes computer...it seems like the cyberlink needs to be used as the audio render even if it is not used as the MPEG2 Audio Filter.
Hope this helps, John

I tried using both. I think once I got it to play a DVD by setting audio back to default, but this may have been because I didn't change the audio renderer after reinstalling powerdvd.
