Size of Meg-2 files?
Can somebody give me an idea of how big (on average) the meg-2 files are for say a hour tv show? I'm thinking of getting a Hauppauge dual tuner card.

For recordings of analog TV, that entirely depends on what recording quality you choose -- it ranges from about 0.6 GB/hour for very low quality up to about 5.9 GB/hour for max quality. I use about 3 GB/hour. If you are already using SageTV, the choices are listed in Setup -> Detailed Setup -> Multimedia -> Recording Quality.
For recording digital TV, the digital stream is just saved as it comes in, so that size will depend on the broadcast & the recording quality selection is not used. - Andy
